This little piece will let you keep track of the outstanding tasks you still have to do. It is currently set with a maximum of ten, but any arbitrary number of instances is possible. You could even make it dynamic with additional scripting to generate new elements on the fly.

It will only allow you to delete one item at a time, which seems logical as you can only complete one task at a time. With checkboxes instead of radioes, and a little more scripting it could probably be modified to do more than one; but again...Is that logical?

Task List

As is sits it is only usable on the desktop. The Update button is just for show. To be a fully functional app it needs to have a database and scripting to manage the data. It will work with any database and server side scripting language. You could even integrate AJAX. I will probably do a follow up piece for the scripting, but I suspect anyone with just a little experience can handle the trivial server support needed.
